I was learning to summarise a news item from kiwi kids news.To do this I had to find a news item read it and then find the important bits of information.I then I had to write it in my own words.

My Reflection

I was learning about different strategies to add 2 numbers.  I am good at using the rounding + compensating but I need to work on using the algorithm strategy.  My teacher can help me with this.

                                                       My Reflection
                          At Camp Merc I learnt how to body surf. I liked the big waves and I like how it felt like I was racing.  I dislike that when a board came it hit me in the face! I am proud of the fact I tried out new things at camp. Next I would like to improve on my tree climbing.
